ACADEMIC STAFF
The academic staff of our school consists of two professors,
seven assistant professors and 38 lecturers. The total number
of academicians is 47.
DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS
The school has two main departments and 10 programs in to-
tal. These are as follows:
• Dentistry Services Department: Oral and Dental Health Pro-
gram
• Medical Services and Techniques Department: Anesthesia,
Audiometry, Electroneurophysiology, First and Emergency
Aid, Medical Documentation and Secretarial, Medical Im-
aging Techniques, Medical Laboratory Techniques, Operat-
ing Room Services and Radiotherapy Programs
Oral and Dental Health Program

The main purpose of this program is; to educate health techni-
cians who have received education at the associate level in the
field of dental health, who are knowledgeable, experienced,
and will assist the dentist. The health technician is the techni-
cal staff who assists the dentist during the treatment of oral
cavity and jaw ailments organized by the dentist, transfers the
basic information necessary for the development of oral den-
tal health awareness to the patient and is authorized to carry
out preventive dentistry practices under the supervision of a
dentist. Health Technicians are healthcare professionals who
provide information about preventive dentistry and practices,
develop oral dental health awareness, seat the patient, assist
the dentist during treatment, sterilize instruments after treat-
ment, and monitor treatment materials and consumables.
