FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND
ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES
BRIEF HISTORY
The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is one
of the oldest and most prestigious faculties of Erciyes Univer-
sity. It was established on January 7, 1980, with 75 students
enrolled in the Department of Business. Currently, approxi-
mately 4630 students are enrolled in its undergraduate pro-
grams. The faculty aims at encouraging students’ critical and
analytical thinking skills along with the skills required for ac-
tive participation in their chosen professions.
FACULTIES The education language in the departments of Public Finance,
QUALITY OF STUDY
International Relations, Political Science and Public Adminis-
tration is Turkish. Students of these departments can take se-
lective English courses. The education language of the depart-
ments of Business and Economics is at least 30% English. In
