Erciyes University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sci-
ences founded in 1982. The first graduate education started
in the Fall semester of 1982-1983 academic year in Physics,
Chemistry, Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. Now,
There are 32 masters and doctorate programs ,in addition,
GRADUATE SCHOOLS of foreign students with a total of 85 scholarships, from dif-

In the current departments, there are 329 lecturers, 112 pro-
fessors, 83 associate professors, 134 doctor lecturers, and 2435
students, 182 of which are foreign nationals. Our goal is to in-
crease the number of candidates applying to the programs
and to ensure the acceptance of qualified students. We antici-
pate that the acceptance rate will increase with the increase in
the number of faculty members. There are two classes in our
institute. In addition, postgraduate thesis defense, doctorate
proficiency and thesis monitoring committee exams in two
classes equipped with projection devices and internet con-
nection can be held with teleconference system.
Since the establishment, theses made in our institute have
been transferred to electronic media and opened to the ser-
vice of all researchers. In addition, The Journal of Institute
of Science and Technology, which has been continuing its
publishing life since 1985, continues its publishing life elec-
tronically. The Journal of Institute of Science and Technology,
which was published online once or twice a year, has started
to be published as three issues a year since 2017.
The Academic staff put their signature to better and more
qualified studies consistently and been working in order to
improve Erciyes University to better degree.
