FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE







           Regional Planning comprises of Urban Planning and Regional
           Planning programs.
           ACADEMIC STAFF
           The academic staffs of the Department of Architecture con-
           sist of one professor, three associate professors, 10 assistant
           professors, one Ph.D. lecturer, two Ph.D. research assistants,
           and 11 research assistants. The academic staffs of the Depart-
           ment of Urban and Regional Planning consist of 13 members:
           three associate professors, six assistant professors, one Ph.D.
      FACULTIES  FACILITIES
           research assistant and three research assistants.


           Located on the central campus, the Faculty of Architecture
           has facilities consisting of classrooms, design, printing, model
           and photography ateliers, a computer laboratory with inter-
           net Access, exhibition and conference halls, a library, meeting
           room, and a canteen. The faculty is excessively equipped with
           sources in order to provide students with a state of the art ed-
           ucation in architecture. Easy access to the books, periodicals,
           and databases that the central library provides are among the
           many benefits of life on campus.
           INSTITUTIONS WE COOPERATE WITH
           The Faculty of Architecture has close relationships with the
           Chamber of Architects and the Chamber of Urban and Re-
           gional Planning. On cultural and social issues, it cooperates
           with the municipalities and institutions of the Ministry of Cul-
           ture to provide specialized knowledge and technical aid. It is
           also in communication with the council of Preserving Cultural
           and Natural Entities in order to Exchange ideas academically
           and as a member of the Council.
           Fields of Work for Graduates
           Graduates of the Department of Architecture may work in re-
           lated sections of public institutions and offices such as design,
           construction, restoration, construction materials, and in the
           development of new construction technology. They may also
           be employed in all ministries, firs and foremost, the Ministry of
