FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE

BRIEF HISTORY
The Department of Architecture, which is originated from Erci-
yes University as the Faculty of Engineering with the resolution
(8589) from the Institute of Higher Education on April 21, 1989,
and later established as a separate faculty by decree (3837) on
3rd July 1992. The Department of Architecture, the Depart-
ment of Urban and Regional Planning, and the Department
of Industrial Design was formally established on 29 July 1993,
with resolution (14377) by the Institute of Higher Education.
FACULTIES Architecture, one of the most preferred departments in the
