THE FACULTY OF LETTERS

BRIEF HISTORY
The Faculty of Letters started its academic studies in the 1984-
1985 academic year. Our motivated and dynamic academic
staff includes 28 professors, 27 associate professors, 33 as-
sistant professors, 23 lecturers, and 38 research assistants. A
modern, qualified and ambitious education is given to 6056
students, 3539 of whom are daytime students and 2517 of
whom are enrolled as evening classes students.
