• Department of Modern Turkic Languages and
Literatures

The academic staff of the department consists of one associ-
ate professor, one assistant professor, and one research assis-
tant. The department has no student.
• Department of Oriental Languages and Literatures
• Department of Japanese Language and Literature

The academic staff of the department consists of one profes-
sor, one assistant professor, three lecturers, and five research
assistants.
• Department of Chinese Language and Literature

The academic staff of the department consists of one profes-
sor, three assistant professors, one lecturer, and two research
assistants.
• Department of Korean Language and Literature
The academic staff of the department consists of two profes-
sors, one associate professor, one assistant professor, three
lecturers, and five research assistants.

The department began education in the 2003-2004 academic
year. The library, which was founded with the support of the
Korean Foundation not only has approximately 5,000 books
but also provides students with facilities to watch Korean tel-
evision channels and benefit from visual materials like VCDs
and DVDs about Korea.
• Department of Indology

The academic staff of the department consists of one associ-
ate professor and one research assistant. The department has
no student.
