General Information on Erciyes University Distance Education Application and Research Center (ERUZEM)

Our center had given Turkish Language and Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution courses through distance education in summer school as a pilot application. Midterm examinations were held online and final examinations were held by testing procedure at the classrooms. As a result of the success of pilot application, Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution, Turkish Language, Foreign Language courses have started to be given through Distance Education at Vocational Colleges and Seyrani Agricultural Faculty in accordance with the decision of University Senate.

Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution, Turkish Language, Foreign Language courses which are given at Vocational Colleges and Seyrani Agricultural Faculty within the center are provided through Distance Education and the examinations of those courses are conducted centrally.

Courses are given at online virtual classes. Courses are recorded and then followed in an asynchronous manner.

Central Examination Technical Infrastructure coordinated by Erciyes University Distance Education Application and Research Center

Courses are given online to 4300 students totally from Vocational Colleges and Seyrani Agricultural Faculty and examinations are held in real classrooms with central examination system. The distribution of the students to the classes, appointment of invigilator and exam-hall moderator issues are performed with the software developed by our center.

The students are assigned to random classes with the software developed by our software development team, and this is a class sitting plan software (eruzem-sınıf) which distribute the students taking the same classes to sit as separate as possible while conducting those random assignments.

Candidate information system developed by our software development team published on the web address eruzemsinav.erciyes.edu.tr at which student examination entrance document is given

Assigned personnels at the examinations can see their exam session information and room information they’re assigned over the attendant information system developed by our software development team for the personnels assigned at the examination.

Erciyes University Distance Education Application and Research Center Exam Evaluation

Examinations are evaluated by optical readers located in the reading room within our Center and the results are determined by the evaluation software developed by our software development unit.

Erciyes University Distance Education Application and Research Center Scheduled Works

1. The transition works from Distance Education Centre to Remote and Open Education Faculty.
2. Courses in many areas, mainly the foreign language courses, will be given through distance education method within ERUZEM.
3. The studies of ERUZEM to be authorized as an e-YDS examination center are at the final stage.
4. Distance learning programs will be open within ERUZEM.
5. Trainings will be given through distance education method in accordance with the demands of public or private sector organizations.
6. Respective examinations depending on the demands of public or private sector organizations will be done by our center.
7. Certification trainings will be held.
8. Exemption exams are planned to be done by our center. Online Programs
