Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has been accredited by The European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) and has become one of the two Faculties of Veterinary Medicine accredited in Turkey. The Accreditation was announced to the academic and administrative staff and students at the meeting organized by the Faculty of Medicine. Our Rector, who participated in the meeting, said that as Erciyes University, their aim is to be among the top 5 universities in Turkey and among the top 500 universities in the world.
Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Abdullah İnci, Vice Deans, academic and administrative staff and students attended the meeting held at the Conference Hall of the faculty.
After the moment of silence and the National Anthem, Prof. Dr. Abdullah İnci made the opening speech of the meeting and gave information about the accreditation process.
Thanking all faculty members, especially our Rector, who supported them in every aspect throughout the accreditation process, Dean Prof. İnci said: “I would like to underline that we will be the best Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Europe. As academic and administrative staff, we will do everything we can to ensure that this great success is permanent with the continuation of investments.”
Our Rector congratulated the staff who contributed throughout the accreditation process. Pointing out that Erciyes University is achieving new successes day by day, our Rector said: “We have started to reap the fruits of the works carried out at our university up to the present. We are so proud of Erciyes University. It has a 44-year history. Our former administrators, academic and administrative staff, students and especially our benefactors have made great efforts in these achievements. Our university has a very important place in the world, particularly in our country. Our university is followed closely by everyone to see with which success it will become a current topic tomorrow. This makes us happy.”
Stating that their aim is to be among the top 5 universities in Turkey, our Rector said: “For the last 3 years, we have always worked with an effort of what we can do as a research university and of how we can raise the level of our university among research universities. Erciyes University is a university that highly deserves the status of a research university. All the awards we have received recently are a great proof of this. Our goal is to be among the top 5 universities in Turkey and among the top 500 universities in the world. This may not happen in a few years, but it will happen when we work with this determination, goal and effort. We will continue to work for this purpose.”
