On the second day of Eid al-Adha, Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek and Erciyes University (ERU) Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun visited patients receiving treatment at the ERU Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Hospital. During their visit, they did not turn down the wish of young patients who had come from outside Kayseri for treatment and wanted to tour the city.

Governor Gökmen Çiçek and Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun visited patients at the ERU Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Hospital on the second day of the holiday. During the visit, they chatted with the patients and their families. When they learned about Şeyma Nur and Fatih, who were continuing their treatment and hadn’t had the opportunity to explore Kayseri, they promised to fulfill the children’s request for a city tour after the holiday—and they kept their promise.

As part of a tour organized by ERU, Şeyma Nur and Fatih first visited the Kayseri Science Center. During their visit, they participated in various educational programs and enthusiastically received information from the instructors.

The second stop for Şeyma Nur and Fatih was the Zoo located within the Anadolu Wonderland (Anadolu Harikalar Diyarı). The children, who had the chance to see different animal species up close for the first time, showed joy and excitement.

After the zoo visit, Şeyma Nur and Fatih went to the Kayseri Governor’s Office, where they had the pleasure of meeting again with Governor Gökmen Çiçek and ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun.

During their visit, the children expressed their gratitude to Governor Gökmen Çiçek and Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun for their attention and support.
