The Faculty of Agriculture held the 2020-2021 Academic Year graduation ceremony.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Borlu, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Osman Sönmez, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mustafa Şahin, academicians and students attended the ceremony held at Marianne Molu Amphitheatre.

Making the opening speech of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Osman Sönmez gave information about the faculty and congratulated the graduates.

In his speech, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış stated that Erciyes University is a well-established institution with a 43-year-history and continued his words as follows: “We are proud of our university. It is one of the five universities fully accredited for a period of five years by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK). I would like to point out that our university has great achievements in every field. There are some leading units enabling our university to be a research university. One of them is the Faculty of Agriculture. The research university has 32 parameters. Among these parameters, Faculty of Agriculture has made great contributions. I would like to thank the whole team of the faculty.”

Stating that they are deeply in sorrow for the forest fires in our country in recent days, our Rector thanked the whole staff who helped to extinguish the fires and wished God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and wished the wounded quick recovery.

Following the speeches, the ceremony ended after Sena Bildim, the top of the faculty, placed a plaque on the graduation log and throwing caps in the air.
