Developed by our university's Faculty of Engineering, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering faculty members Prof. Dr. Mustafa Serdar ÖNSES and Res. Asst. Nusret ÇELİK, the national patent titled "A Method for Obtaining Omniphobic and Superhydrophobic Surfaces Using Sunlight" has been registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
