Our University Ranked 3rd in Turkey and 142nd in the World in 2020 UI Greenmetric World University Rankings
2020 UI GreenMetric World University Ranking Results, evaluating world universities in the fields of sensitivity to the environment, energy, wastes, management of transportation and sustainability, were announced. Our University became 142nd among world universities in the evaluation list of 922 universities and 3rd in the ranking among 56 Turkish universities. In the GreenMetric Ranking aiming to drawing attention to the matters concerning sustainability and to create global awareness regarding environment consciousness, while our University raised its 2019 total score from 6550 to 7175, it raised its score from 900 to 1200 in the Waste category, from 1175 to 1375 in the Transportation category, and from 1425 to 1500 in the Education and Research category.

ERU conducts significant studies for the purpose of providing top-level contributions to our city and country in terms of education, research and community services and thereby succeeds on a large scale. In addition, in order to provide our students and members with clean and liveable environments, important activities are carried out to universalize by improving green campus, energy conservation and eco-friendly applications.
