The project titled “Comparison of Biocompatibility of Human and Bovine Mitral Heart Valves via Gene Expression,” led by Orhan BAYRAM from the ERU Department of Veterinary Anatomy of the Institute of Health Sciences, has been awarded funding by TÜBİTAK under the TUBİTAK 1002-A Short-term Support Module. Project team includes Prof. Dr. Serpil Taheri, from the ERU Department of Medical Biology at the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Ayhan Düzler, from the ERU Department of Veterinary Anatomy at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, as advisor; Lecturer Dr. Sedat SEVİÇİN from the Department of Forensic Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Research Assistant Osman Talha POSCU from the Department of Veterinary Anatomy at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Assoc. Prof. Yücel YILMAZ, a Cardiovascular Surgeon working at Kayseri City Hospital as researcher.
