The 2024–2025 World University Rankings by URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance), operating under the Informatics Institute of Middle East Technical University (METU), have been announced.

In the URAP World University Rankings, the top 3,500 universities with the highest number of scientific articles were selected and ranked based on URAP indicators. Six academic productivity indicators were used for the ranking: Number of Articles, Number of Citations, Total Scientific Document, Total Publication Impact, Total Citation Impact, and International Collaboration.

According to the URAP 2024–2025 World Rankings, Erciyes University ranked:

• 13th among universities in Türkiye,

• 11th among state universities in Türkiye,

• and 1,023rd in the world.

In the 2023–2024 URAP ranking, Erciyes University was ranked 1,119th in the world and 14th among universities in Türkiye. According to the 2024–2025 results, the university has achieved a significant success by rising one place in the national ranking and 96 places in the world ranking.

Erciyes University increased its total URAP World Ranking score by 27.41 points compared to last year, reaching a score of 276.69.

• Article Score: from 48.74 to 49.17

• Citation Score: from 56.65 to 63.36

• Total Scientific Document Score: from 29.77 to 30.04

• Total Publication Impact Score: from 40.93 to 51.33

• Total Citation Impact Score: from 35.5 to 44.55

• International Collaboration Score: from 37.69 to 38.24
