FACULTY OF MEDICINE
BRIEF HISTORY
The Faculty of Medicine was established on December 9, 1968,
on Erciyes University campus and was affiliated to Hacettepe
University, Ankara, under the name of Kayseri Gevher Nesibe
Faculty of Medicine. Our faculty aims at training doctors ca-
pable of performing and upgrading health assistance to the
public, conducting research and providing services which
adapt to changing and developing social and ethical values,
communicating, displaying leadership qualities, and having
the essential professional knowledge and skills to receive ad-
