Prof. Dr. Osman SÖNMEZ, a faculty member in the Soil Science and Plant Nutrition Department of our university's Faculty of Agriculture, has been awarded funding for his research proposal, "Assessing the Ecosystem Effects of Microplastic Pollution in the Root Zone of Corn (Zea mays L.), and Developing Effective Removal Strategies." This proposal has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 2221 - Fellowships for Visiting Scientists and Scientists on Sabbatical Leave and Dr. Ali NOMAN has been invited as a researcher.
