Times Higher Education (THE), one of the most prestigious university ranking organizations in the world, announced the THE 2021 Impact Rankings.

Erciyes University has had a significant success in the THE 2021 Impact Rankings, which was carried out by considering the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2019 institutional data. While our university has been ranked in the 301-400 band in this international ranking in which 1240 universities from 98 countries across the world participated, it has shared the 3 rd place in the national ranking together with Boğaziçi University, Hacettepe University and İstanbul Bilgi University. Our university has also been ranked 3 rd together with Boğaziçi University and Hacettepe University among Research and Candidate Research Universities.

Our University has provided data for 17 Sustainable Development Goals in a way to cover all titles in the THE 2021 Impact Ranking. According to the results published, ERU has been ranked 86 th in the world in the “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure” category, 96 th in the world in the “Climate Action” category, in the 101-200 band in the “Life on Land” category. Accordingly, our university has achieved to take place among the best 200 universities in the world in these 3 categories.
