ics. It also aims to educate personnel to design and manufac-
ture new types of aircraft which Turkey Aircraft Industry and
Undersecretariat for Defense Industries targets to improve.
Number of lecturers, quality, physical infrastructure and labo-
ratory facilities of the department has been completed for
formal education of the aircraft engineering department. 52
students are accepted with the Field Proficiency Test (AYT).
The engineers who graduate from the aircraft engineering
department can be employed in the Defense Industry Under-
secretariat, Turkish Airlines, private airlines, research institu-
tions, Universities, TÜBİTAK, TUSAŞ, TAI, TEI and other aviation
and space sciences related organizations.
