Painting Exhibition called “Stories of Anatolia”

Painting Exhibition called “Stories of Anatolia” was opened at Sabancı Cultural Complex.

Saadet Party Kayseri Deputy Mahmut Arıkan, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Oktay Özkan and Prof. Dr. Hakan Aydın, academics, and students attended the opening of the exhibition.

As part of the project entitled, “Almost Extinct Pastoral Nomadic Village Houses in Yeşilkent (Yalak) Village, Sarız District of Kayseri Province in Anatolia, and their Stories”, which was entitled to be supported by TUBITAK, the works prepared for one year by Ramazan Demirci, 4th grade student at the Department of Painting/Faculty of Fine Arts, were exhibited.

While depicting the village mansions, Ramazan Demirci, who reflected the cultural values of Yeşilkent Village, Sarız District of Kayseri, where he was born and spent his childhood, also portrayed short stories of the people living in them.
