FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
BRIEF HISTORY
The Faculty of Engineering, which was one of the first faculties
to be established at Erciyes University, began academic pro-
grams on 1st March 1977 with the Departments of Mechanical
and Electronic Engineering.
The Faculty of Engineering is composed of fourteen depart-
ments. The faculty also started evening classes at the begin-
ning of the 1992-1993 academic year in the Department of
Mechanical and Electrical-Electronic Engineering, in 2003-
FACULTIES 2004 in the Department of Civil Engineering, and 2009-2010
in the Department of Industrial and Computer Engineering.
In our faculty, double-major and subspecialty education pro-
grams have been implemented.
