Within the scope of “March 14 Doctors’ Day Awards”, organized by the Ministry of Health under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the domestic vaccine TURKOVAC, developed against COVID-19 by our University, was deemed worthy of the March 14 Science Grand Prize. The award was presented to Prof. Dr. Aykut Özdarendeli, Director of the Vaccine Research, Development and Application Center of our University, by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

At the ceremony held at Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center within the scope of March 14 Doctors’ Day events, “March 14 Doctors’ Day Awards” were presented to their owners after the speech by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
