“Hands-on Workshop in Radio Astronomy” was held by Erciyes University, International Astronomical Union, Turkish Astronomical Society and Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences in Iran.

CHP Kayseri Deputy Aşkın Genç, our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Nusret Ayyıldız, academics and students attended the workshop held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Science.

After the opening speeches, the workshop continued with academic presentations on topics such as star and planet formation, galaxy formation and evolution, interstellar and intergalactic medium, AGNs, dark matter, dark energy and cosmic magnetism.
