Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış, and Prof. Dr. Hızır Yakup Akyıldız, Dean of the Faculty
of Medicine, academic staff members and students participated in the music recital, which
was held online by the Stem Cell and Scientific Researches Club on the occasion of the “14
March Medicine Day”.
Making an opening speech in the event by celebrating the day of all healthcare professionals
and thanking those who contributed to the event, our Rector said: “Medicine is a very
laborious and difficult profession but a lofty occupation. The profession of not only medical
doctors but also all healthcare professionals is a lofty profession. Surely, you need to do your
profession willingly and fondly. No matter what profession it is, if you do your job
unwillingly, you can neither be successful nor can serve for the society. For this reason, it is
very important to do your job willingly.”
Following the speech of our Rector, the recital performed by Mevlüt Aydın, Intern Dr., and
Onur Özdil, Term 1 Student of the Faculty of Medicine, was highly appreciated.
