ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun came together with the students who participated in TUBITAK 2209 – Research Projects Support Program for Undergraduate Students.

Speaking at the event held at Sabancı Cultural Complex, Rector Altun emphasized the importance of students’ participation in research projects.

He stated that he came together with students to raise awareness and added: “You have gained experience in the 2209 projects. You have moved from point A to point B. What should come next is to ensure continuity in new projects. I think it is crucial to come up with an idea and take action based on that thought. Whether at the TUBITAK level or within the scientific community, there are many significant opportunities ahead of you.”

The knowledge and experiences you have gained at this university will open many doors for you in the future.”

Prof. Dr. Gökmen Zararsız, Dean of Research, who gave the presentation titled “Opportunities for Undergraduate Students”, stated that a record number of applications were submitted for TUBITAK 2209 projects.
