The Faculty of Law organized a panel on the “Palestine-Israel Issue in the Context of the Right of Self-Defense, Genocide and War Crimes”.

Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hakan Aydın, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Burak Adıgüzel, academics and students attended the panel held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Communication.

After a moment of silence and the singing of the Turkish National Anthem, Prof. Dr. Cengiz Gül made a presentation on the “Analysis of Attacks on Palestine in the Context of the Right of Self-Defense and Human Rights”, Assoc. Prof. İslam Safa Kaya on the “Evaluation of Israel’s Attack on Palestine in Terms of International Criminal Law”, and Assoc. Prof. Hulusu Akkaş on the “Evaluation of Actions Carried out in Gaza in Terms of the Crime of Genocide” in the panel moderated by Prof. Dr. Burak Adıgüzel.
